The FV1 test boards are out to the fabricator. There is a lot of interest in this filter module, so most of my efforts now are going into getting it ready and tested. If you already purchase a preamp, you can easily swap out your FB1 filters (or just one of them!) for an FV1. Your main PD1/2 board and all the pots stay the same, it's just a quick unplug/plug job to try it. I will have a trim pot option to set the Q, or you can add another hole for the additional Q pot.
Another use of the FV1 on a two-pickup bass would be in the blended signal configuration. You use a single filter, and use the hole for the second frequency control for the Q. It is also the solution for a single pickup bass. I installed it in my 3 knob single, so I have a volume, frequency and Q pot, and a coil selector switch.
Thanks for all the feedback via email and phone, and look for the FV1 in about 5-6 weeks.
