Headphone and DI Modules

I'm thinking about designing a headphone amp module and a DI module for the preamp. They would plug into the mixed signal position and turned on/off with a mini toggle switch. This would require a new preamp board with three filter connectors instead of the current two (with the second connector being selectable between channel 2 and the mixed signal). I will probably re-design the connectors as well, because real estate is getting tight and I want to keep the boards small. Another change I'm thinking about is moving the bypass switch connectors to the main board, so any module can be bypassed, and the modules can be smaller. There will be an easy upgrade path (board exchange?) for folks who already have the PD1/2.
What do you think? Would that be useful?
Hi Tim, I think a DI module in particular would be incredibly useful. I'm thinking of the DI output in a Wal bass that would allow you to send a DI signal straight to the mixing board at the same time as your bass signal splits off to your pedals and amps. Sign me up! :-)
