I'm thinking about making a little trimmer board that can be plugged into the bass and treble frequency connectors on the ET5 3 Band EQ. They would allow you to set the bass and treble frequency cutoffs internally, and use single CX1 pots for boost and cut. You would then have a classic 3 band setup with bass and treble boost/cut knobs, and one stacked mid knob with sweep. Once you decide on your optimal tuning, it would be simpler to use than 3 parametric bands, and cost less. What do you think?
The ET5 is almost ready, I have production boards coming in the next few days, and I'll be doing final testing and tuning next week. The ES5 single knob parametric mid EQ will follow shortly after that.

seems like a great option. one could even drill holes in the rear cavity cover and mount the trimpots so they can still be adjusted without having to open things up.
