Modular Philosophy

With many onboard preamps, the pots are soldered onto the preamp circuit boards. If you break a pot or wear it out, you have to return the whole thing to be repaired, and pay repair and shipping fees. You could be dead in the water for weeks or months. With Underhill preamps, the pots and switches are all separate, so we quickly send you a new one, and you plug it in. That's it!
